Charging of AGM Yuasa/Motocross Batteries:

This battery, made by Yuasa/Motocross, is an AGM battery. This is short for Absorbed Glass Mat. They are designed differently than a normal conventional battery. Therefore they require a special charger that is capable of charging this type of battery. This is a battery that is typically used seasonally. It is essential to keep your battery charged during the off-season or when it is unused for a length of time. A battery that is kept charged at 100% all the time is a happy battery. This will insure that you get the longest overall life out of your Yuasa/Motocross Battery. The best way to accomplish this is with a Battery Tender or maintainer.
